Dental Hygienist Claire Berry
Claire is a multi-award winning dental hygienist based in the north of England. She writes a monthly hygienist blog and numerous articles for FMC publications as well as being published in other industry and consumer press.
She is a proud key opinion leader for Oral B and IvoclarVivadent, an ambassador for the BSDHT and Boutique Whitening as well as being a Swiss Dental Academy(SDA) trainer for EMS. She speaks publicly on behalf of the companies mentioned, on top of running study groups for hygienists and therapists in her local area and teaching as part of the YDS Academy.
Also a mentor in the field of facial aesthetics, Claire has written a lips masterclass in aesthetics which has accredited online and hands on elements and she has just written an aesthetics book which is available to buy.
Boris Atlas
Boris graduated with a BDS in 2005 from Glasgow Dental School and spent the next decade working in private practice in London, both as an associate and principal, with a focus on aesthetic dentistry and facial aesthetics.
Boris joined Procter & Gamble in 2016 and since 2019 has been responsible for the Global Professional & Scientific Relations for Oral-B Brush, based at the German Innovation Centre in Kronberg and leading the work to launch Oral-B iO to Key Opinion Leaders and Dental Professionals around the world.

Great webinar, thank you both. I just want to play devils advocate. Once we’ve explained to patients clearly and concisely what the issues are and how to fix it, why bother trying to change behaviour – should they not have to own their problem. Are we not just an being extension of the nanny state?

Why is the sonic oral B not available in the Uk???!!!
Totally agree with the disclosing but do we deal with disclosing currently when only hand scaling and no prophy- unless in AGP slot. Not in a position to offer all patients an AGP currently. Thank you
What is the”Oral B Test Drive”?
Is the ultra sensitive head for oral B better for reducing probability of gum recession OR for those with thin biotypes?
Will we be able to access this webinar recording after it ends?
Lots of manual brushes are now more eco friendly and recyclable, but the big ETB brands like Oral B don’t seem interested in going this way. Why is that?
Certainly in Cambridge where I work there are a growing number of patients who won’t go electric because of this concern.
