Out of interest why didn’t you place the rubber dam at the outset rather than once the cavity had been prepared?
Many thanks

hi theo here
For a deep cavity what base or liner would you suggest under a composite ?
I never used sectional matrix system. Now when placing the ring over the tooth, is it likely that matrix can become loose in spite of a wedge ?
if so, what is trick in keeping the matrix stable ?
how do you not end up with lots of bond stuck to your matrix band?
Thank you. From Lima Perú
thanks so much for the great webinar! can we use matrix band to protect the neighbouring tooth in class 2?
In a deep cavity with risk for RCT for patient with no symptoms with no pulp exposure, I believe we could leave some caries if dentin is not infected leave little caries hoping for re-mineralisation. Is this a correct to do or should we remove the caries completely and start RCT ?
for composite in last tooth in arch where do you clamp dam??
often the tooth is also fairly broken down with little structure to clamp
How would you suggest restoring an upper 7 for example, with no tooth distal to it , with rubber dam. Where would you place the clamp if matrix was needed ? I always find this a problem
Do you get rubber dam On for most distal tooth needing class 2 filling.
Using a slow speed with a rosehead, I have always used water cooling, where I work there is no water to the slow speed, my nurse uses the tripple syringe with water to cool as I work. Some dentists do not use water with slow peed for caries removal. Am I complicating caries removal using water?
Hello

Hi, I’ve unfortunately found that in dementia sufferers, caries can progress at a very fast rate: from D1 to exposure in 10 months. What do you suggest for those patients?

separating teeth to check for cavitation of early lesions… with rings?
